The Children Services Council of St. Lucie County along with the St. Lucie Chamber of Commerce have once again partnered to support local businesses and non-profit providers. The Small Business Challenge Program helps incentivize the use of locally owned St. Lucie County businesses and provides additional support to our hard working non-profit partners in the community.
Utilizing their extensive networks, including more than 13,000 followers on Facebook, a radio show and several local access TV spots, the Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County and the St. Lucie Chamber of Commerce want to issue a “challenge” to residents to find ways to support local businesses and local non-profits during these trying times.
The program will work like this: participating businesses, nominated by the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce will choose a non-profit, funded by the Children’s Services Council, as a partner. On a selected day, the Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County will donate an amount equal to the selected business’ revenue (up to $1,000) to their non-profit “partner”.
