Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County encourages everyone to be actively involved in a child’s life.  Below are opportunities to GET INVOLVED and make a BIG difference.

Neighborhood Projects

Strong communities begin with active neighborhoods.  Bonding together to work toward improving their immediate surroundings, neighbors can make a positive impact in a child's life.

Realizing the importance of positive nurturing environments, the Children's Services Council of St. Lucie County provides funds for neighborhood projects that encourage neighbors to work together to plan and provide activities for children and families.  The Children's Services Council of St. Lucie County may commit up to $5,000 toward neighborhood projects initiated by homeowner associations, resident associations, scout groups, PTO's, youth groups and other qualifying groups including faith groups not requiring worship or religious instructional activities as a condition of participation.  Neighborhood projects are required to match their requested amount with volunteer hours.  To find out more call (772) 408-1100.
