New Blog Post

Four years ago, after their son was born, Amy and Fred Longar, received a nurse home visit to ensure that their baby boy was healthy and to answer any questions they had. As their son grew, Amy and Fred noticed issues with his behavior and were able to again reach out to a local resource through the Help Me Behave program.

A Success Story

While visiting a 34 year old, first-time mom, who delivered via c-section, the Home Visitation RN noted that the client was taking several medications for continued high blood pressure and possible incisional infection. Client’s blood pressure was moderately high, but client verbalized that she was continuing to take the blood pressure medication as ordered.
