In 1990, St. Lucie County residents voted to establish a special district of local government to levy local property taxes to help children reach their full potential. 

For nearly twenty years, the Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County has been a dedicated steward of taxpayer dollars, providing funding for prevention and early intervention programs, advocating for children, and training the social service workforce that provides services to children and families.

CSC now has funds available for agencies to apply for new or expanded summer programs. CSC’s priority is to increase community resources available to parents and families.

All applicants will be required to attend a

Sundaes in the Park

The Lifelong Literacy Coalition will host the 4th Annual Sundaes in the Park event on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Whispering Pines Park in Port St. Lucie. The days events will include FREE ice cream sundaes, and FREE books to every child who attends.

Please come out and enjoy the day and the love of literacy!
